A Chapter Undertaking
In 2006, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) Alaska Chapter organized its first Asthma & Allergy Conference. With the direction AAFA Alaska's Board of Directors, supported by AAFA Alaska Staff, an Organizing Committee was formed to recruit expert presenters from inside Alaska and notable speakers from areas across the nation. The conference has become an annual event, and is among several important programs that underscore AAFA Alaska's mission:
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Alaska Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by asthma and allergies through education, collaboration with community resources, support and research.
